What to do when your childs school is sending 4 classrooms of Kinder’s on a Field Trip to a FARM in a few days? Am I a Nervous Nelly?

Not one to cause fear, though so many die each year to the influenza virus.

It sounds bad I know…but think about it for a second. 36,000 person’s a year lose their life to influenza, yet we remain complacent and society as a whole see’s no problem with it. But when big media breaks out a story about a virus with a flashy name ( by the way, I agree with the USDA..it should be called H1N1 not Swine Flu) the world goes into respritory distress.

36,000 ….That is on average 102 people a day in a 365 day year during a normal influenza outbreak. Now there is “Swine Flu” and Roche and other companies are making a killing by marketing their patented drug “Tamiflu”….you would have better results by eating a bowl of chicken broth.

It’s all a marketing campaign for Pharmacuetical companies…always has been , and always will. I wouldn’t be surprised if that mystery virus that was came up missing from that government lab a few weeks ago, was in all acuality , this new outbreak. I wouldn’t forego the Terrorist attack theory either. It would be a perfect way to accomplish something like that.
